Parish Nursing The Parish Nurse Project - Sacred Work!In partnership with Ida Moffett School of Nursing, Samford University and Baptist Health System, Alabama BNF schedules training for those interested in Parish Nursing. The Parish Nurse Preparation Class is guided by professionals trained at the International Parish Nurse Resource Center. It is an opportunity for RNs to earn CEU credits while preparing themselves to lead in a congregational health ministry in their own church.
The Parish Nurse is a connector to bring total wellness to her congregation. She helps her church reclaim the spiritual dimension of health and the church as a healing place. Through a health ministry the congregation has new tools to connect the broader community to total wellness - body - mind - spirit! Parish Nursing
